Usina Caeté participates in TransformAgro and reinforces its leading role in the bioenergy and sustainability agenda.

Usina Caeté was present at TransformAgro – Forum on Waste and Rural Innovation, held on February 12th at the Central Auditorium of the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina – Concórdia Campus, in Concórdia (SC). The event, promoted in partnership with FAPESC, brought together students, rural producers, entrepreneurs and agribusiness specialists to discuss environmental sustainability and innovation in the rural environment.

With a program focused on waste management, sustainable technologies, bio-businesses, and the bioeconomy, TransformAgro has established itself as an important space for dialogue, learning, and networking, strengthening the integration between academia, the productive sector, and industry.

Representing Usina Caeté, the Agroindustrial Director, Luiz Magno Epaminondas Tenório de Brito, and the Agroindustrial Superintendent of the Paulicéia Unit, Glênio Fireman Tenorio Filho, gave a technical presentation on the topic “From Waste to Fuel: The Strategic Route of Bioenergy in Brazil”.

During the presentation, they shared experiences and strategies adopted by the company in transforming agro-industrial waste into renewable energy sources, highlighting the strategic role of bioenergy in the Brazilian energy matrix.

“By investing in solutions that add value to waste and promote the circular economy, Caeté makes a concrete contribution to strengthening sustainable agribusiness and regional development,” highlighted director Luiz Magno Tenório de Brito.
